Prepare for an Entity Hunt
If you let a Doppelganger through—or see a Blood Moon warning—you may need to survive a hunt at the end of the shift. Set up the store before the countdown runs out instead of trying to improvise after the threat arrives.
The front door, toilet door, and back office door can all be boarded. Do as many as time allows, then place traps around the store. Traps lower the Entity's Patience, which is the goal: delay it and survive until that meter runs out.
Keep one route open for yourself. A trap layout that blocks your own movement is worse than a partial setup. Vents can help you hide or reposition, but they are only temporary. Staying in one too long can force you back out.
After the hunt, dismantle traps you no longer need before customers return. Unused traps can injure regular customers.

The Phantom stops advancing while you look directly at it. Keep it in view, walk backward, and guide it toward a bear trap you placed earlier.
Don't turn around unless you have to. Losing sight of the Phantom allows it to advance.
Check the Bus Before Ending the Shift
Your shift isn't over until the bus is safe. Before you try to leave, inspect the driver's seat.
An empty driver's seat means you can leave. If someone is sitting behind the wheel, do not attempt to board the bus. That driver is a Doppelganger, and trying to leave triggers the Red Creature.
